Grace will resume in person services with the guidelines listed below, as well as continue to offer online streamed services for those who feel it is best for them to not join larger groups of people. We ask that you would make the decision to join us in person or online with prayer, wisdom, and discernment.

If you have experienced any symptoms we ask that you would please stay home, and consult with a doctor before attending an in person service.

What to Expect on Sunday Mornings

Service Times: We will offer three family worship services at 8:15am (Traditional) 9:45am (Modern) or 11:15am (Modern).

Masks: Masks are required as you enter any of our buildings.  When you are seated in the sanctuary you can remove your mask for worship.  If you need to leave your seat for any reason we ask that you please put your mask back on.

Entrances & Doors: There will be one entrance and exit: the main doors that flow directly into the Commons.  Seating for the service will begin 15 minutes before the start of each service.

Seating: We will have multiple ushers at each door into the sanctuary that will seat households. Please do not seat yourself as this will help us follow the guidelines we are expected to uphold. If you are waiting to be seated, please adhere to the social distancing signs by standing at one of the marked locations on the floor that are 6 feet apart. Inside the sanctuary, we will seat households 6 feet apart from each other front to back with 2 chairs between each household side to side. We have removed rows from each section to achieve the 6 feet distance front to back.

Children & Youth: G-Club, G-Crew, and Student Ministries will resume on Sunday, September 13. Please click here for more information.

We will also have a family space in the Commons for parents to take children during the service if needed. This family space will follow social distancing guidelines and will have a live feed of the service so parents can continue to watch.

After Service: A staff member on stage will thank everyone for coming, ask everyone to be seated, and will then guide people to exit. We want to get people out quickly and safely so please wait for instructions before exiting.

Sanitizing Facilities: Once the building is clear, all high touch areas will be sanitized between services. We will wipe down every sink, restroom stall, and every place there is high touch.

Volunteers: We are personally calling every volunteer with specific instructions to not shake hands, pass out bulletins, or have any contact with others. We will have greeters with welcoming signs and to hold doors open, ushers who help seat every household, and safety volunteers. Every volunteer will be wearing masks, will have no physical contact with others and will help us encourage guests, attenders, and members to do the same.

Giving: We are continuing to encourage many options for people to give. We have giving boxes directly outside of the sanctuary on the walls.

Print Material: All usual print material such as bulletins, prayer list, sign-ups, welcome, connect, & prayer cards will be available digitally at gbcfortworth.com/live. There will be no printed material available except for giving envelopes at the giving boxes.

Commons: Unfortunately, at this time we won’t have coffee, donuts, or any furniture in the Commons area.

Adult Community Groups: Community Groups are meeting in-person and virtually. Your community leader will update you with the time and place your group is meeting.  If you are not in a community group and would like to join one please visit our website, www.gbcfortworth.com/connect and fill out a connect card.
