Steve Broom joined Grace in 2010. He was born in southern Mississippi and grew up in the Memphis, Tennessee area. He earned a bachelor degree from the University of Memphis and a masters degree from the University of North Dakota. He met his wife, Shirley, while in Memphis and they have two grown children. Steve is retired from the US Air Force and from Sprint Communications Corporation (now, T-Mobile). Currently, he is an Enrolled Agent for Block Advisors in Fort Worth. He became a Christian as a third grader and grew up in a Christian home. Steve was ordained as a deacon in 1980 and is currently a member of the choir. Steve has previously served two terms as a Grace Trustee. He loves spending time with his granddaughter, playing golf, traveling, and going to the shooting range. His favorite Bible verse is 2 Timothy 1:12.
