So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart. 2 Timothy 2:22

Who We Are

Pursuit is a community of young adults (ages 18-25) who pursue God through Bible study, local service projects, and community with one another.  We want our group members to know that during this pivotal point in their lives they are not alone.  God is constantly in pursuit of us. Our desire is to better understand what pursuing God looks like in daily life.

When We Meet

Sunday Mornings
We are not meant to do life alone. We were designed, by God, to be in community. Our group meets every Sunday morning at 9:45am in room A-101. We build community through studying God’s Word and praying together.

First Thursday of Each Month
(September – May only)
We gather monthly to celebrate all God is doing. We meet on the first Thursday of each month in CY-201 at 7pm for a time of worship, an engaging message, and end our time together with a free meal.

Monthly Hangouts
Once a month we meet up outside of the church to hang out, eat, and have fun! We do something different each month, but some favorites have been: popping fireworks, playing indoor soccer, nerf-gun battles, and game nights.

Summer Discipleship
On select Sunday nights during the summertime we gather together at a leaders home and break off into small groups by guys and girls.  This time is used to study the Word together and establish a deeper fellowship with one another.  Dinner is always provided!

Service Projects

We serve as a group throughout the year at various church-wide activities.  We also volunteer once a year at Beautiful Feet, a local ministry to the homeless in Fort Worth, by serving and leading worship at their facility.
